| Then, generate your design judging sheets. A set of sheets is generated for each category or class of car. Usually the categories are set up based on the racer's age and/or gender. Design judging must be impartial. The Grand Prix Organizer produces design judging forms showing only the race car's numbers. The racer's names are hidden from the judges. |

A second set of sheets allows each design judge's car scores to be entered on one summary sheet for each category and tallied. The tally sheet provides a place for designating winners - 1st place through 6th place. The reason for 6 ranked winners is that some events limit a racer to win either speed or design - not both. This spreads the awards around and lets more racers be winners. This sheet is folded or put in an envelope for the announcer to read (in a dramatic fashion) to declare the design winners. |
